From humble beginnings, Rich Mar Florist was founded in center city Allentown in 1955. The company was founded by the father and son team of Vincent and Richard Morrissey. The company expanded into the 1970's and soon the grandson Richard J. Morrissey would join his family in their business. In the late 1980's the company expanded operations into its present day locations. Two retail stores, one in Allentown and Bethlehem and a design center in Allentown. Richard J's son Jonathan joined the company in 2003, marking the 4th generation of Morrissey's to join the family business. Today Rich Mar Florist has grown to be a well-known name in the Lehigh Valley for customer service and attention to detail. The company is an FTD Master florist, has a staff which has over 100 years of combined design experience and is one of the top 100 FTD florists in the entire country.
